Hope’s Home – May 2026

April 29, 2026

Hope’s Home is a medically inclusive childcare centre which provides care for children with complex medical needs (Hope’s Home, n.d.). Complex medical needs encompass a spectrum of conditions, needs, limitations and medical fragility; therefore, children with complex health needs can experience complex chronic conditions, functional limitations, and require high health care use and a high need for caregiving (Canadian Institute for Health Information, 2020). Hope’s Home offers early learning and childcare, as well as before and after school care for children with complex medical needs, their siblings, and children with typical needs in the community (Hope’s Home., n.d.). Provided services include on-site nurses, and coordination with physical, occupation and/or speech therapists (n.d.).

Hope’s Home also offers supportive living services, providing long-term housing for children (birth to 18 years of age) with complex medical needs, with 24-hour nursing care, and coordinated physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy (Hope’s Home, n.d.).
