Healthy Parenting Course – June 2026

May 26, 2026

Parenting is an important role that involves nurturing and raising growing children. Becoming a parent is a wonderful and sometimes challenging time because it involves so much of the unknown; people are not inherently born with the parenting knowledge they need. Parenting is a job that does not come with training but involves constant change, busy schedules, and new learning moments. The Saskatchewan Prevention Institute has created a free, online parenting course, Healthy Parenting, for parents and caregivers to complete at their own pace (SPI, n.d.). This parenting course aims to answer many of the questions new and experienced parents and caregivers have in regard to raising children (SPI, n.d.). Topics include care seats, screen time, literacy, safety, and more (SPI, n.d.). Additionally, there is an opportunity for a certificate upon completion of the online course (n.d.). If you are interested in answering some of your parenting questions, check out the
