Family Matters Program – June 2026

May 26, 2026

Navigating separation or divorce as a parent is a complex and potentially overwhelming time as there is so much to coordinate to support the children. This time in a parent’s life involves so many questions and concerns, which can lead to uncertainty when trying to figure out where to begin. The Family Matters Program is run through the Government of Saskatchewan and provides families with information and resources on separation while aiming to reduce the impacts of separation on the family (Government of Saskatchewan, n.d.). The Family Matters Program offers free services for families navigating separation and covers many topics helpful for parents, including custody, child support, parenting plans, and more (Government of Saskatchewan, n.d.). If you are a parent or caregiver navigating separation or divorce, check out the Family Matters Program for additional supports (Government of Saskatchewan, n.d.).
