Cannabis and Pregnancy
February 23, 2023
Research has shown that cannabis can have effects before, during, and after pregnancy. The safest choice is to stop using cannabis when trying to get pregnant, during pregnancy, and while breastfeeding. Chemicals from cannabis can be passed down to the baby through breastfeeding for up to 30 days after cannabis use. If you need assistance to stop or reduce your use of cannabis, contact your doctor or call the HealthLine at 811 for advice and/or support.
